Refwash’s journey began under the visionary leadership of Mr. Syed Nayaz, a seasoned dealer of second-hand appliances. In its nascent stage, the enterprise operated from the confines of our family home, with the front yard doubling as the bustling marketplace for pre-loved appliances. The family comprises three siblings: myself, my sister, and my younger brother.

My after-school hours were dedicated to assisting my father in the business, and over time, I honed my skills to become an adept appliance repair technician. Meanwhile, my younger sister, Syeda Husna, embarked on a journey into the world of web development as she envisioned her professional path.

One fateful evening, as we gathered for dinner, an idea took root. My younger brother, Syed Kaif, was in the midst of an online search for a second-hand bicycle. In a moment of inspiration, our father posed a question: “Can we extend our venture to include the online sale of second-hand appliances?” With a smile, my sister affirmed that it was indeed possible.

It was at that juncture, in the year 2017, that Refwash was born. Since its inception, Refwash has evolved into the foremost authority in second-hand sales and service, proudly serving the entire Bangalore region.

This transformational journey, initiated by our father’s expertise and guided by each family member’s unique contributions, has culminated in Refwash’s esteemed position today.
